AltPROP is a technology platform operated alongside a licensed Texas brokerage. Every gate that protects consumers under NAR, RESPA, TREC, and AML rules is enforced in code, not in copy.
Four load-bearing promises
PROP Realty is a Texas Real Estate Commission-licensed brokerage (TREC #9013986). AltPROP is the affiliated technology platform. Both operate under a RESPA-disclosed Affiliated Business Arrangement.
Every buyer signs a Buyer Broker Agreement (BBA) before a showing. Every FSBO listing has a signed co-marketing agreement before it publishes. No exceptions, no back-channels.
Identity verification is required to publish a listing and to clear high-value transactions. Crypto counterparties are screened for AML risk. Fail-closed enforcement — a service outage does not open the gate.
We charge for the connection, never the data. There is no ad network, no data broker, no third-party pixel farm. Your inbox is not a product.
Entity structure
Platform vs. brokerage is not marketing — it’s a licensing wall. Marketing/platform agreements are with AltPROP. Licensed representation is with PROP Realty.

Payment rails
The card rail is architecturally separated from any crypto on-ramp. Custodial and self-custody crypto lanes run in parallel so sponsor-bank underwriting stays clean.
Card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay via a PCI-compliant hosted tokenization provider. Card numbers never touch AltPROP servers. High-value transactions trigger additional identity verification, and the check fails closed on service errors.
Consumer-friendly crypto payments through a regulated processor. Signed settlement, idempotent capture, and full separation from the card rail to keep sponsor-bank underwriting clean.
Optional settlement in USDC on leading EVM networks for on-chain-native counterparties. Third-party price oracles gate quotes so wallets never sign against a stale market.
Compliance gates in code
When a required service is unreachable, the request is blocked — not waved through. Silent fail-open defeats the purpose of a compliance layer.
Enforced at every showing request. Feature-flagged and fail-closed — a service outage blocks the request instead of waving it through.
Every FSBO listing — including the free tier — requires a real signed signature workflow (no auto-accept) before public publication. Enforced at both property publish paths.
A listing cannot be publicly published until the seller has completed identity verification. The upstream identity webhook fails closed when its signing secret is missing.
The card rail runs additional identity checks on high-value single charges and short-window cumulative activity before the payment intent is created. Thresholds and mechanics are documented in the compliance data room.
Data protection
All PII, agreements, and payment metadata are encrypted at rest by our cloud infrastructure. All web traffic is TLS 1.2+.
AltPROP does not run Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or programmatic ad-network tags on authenticated pages. Property views, saved searches, and messages are not sold, licensed, or shared with advertisers.
Users can export their listings, leads, offers, and messages in a machine-readable format. Deletion requests are honored per CCPA and per the platform Data Practices notice.
