Provider Terms

These Provider Terms apply to any individual or business ("Provider") who onboards to and participates in the AltPROP professional services marketplace. By completing onboarding, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

To become a Provider, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Hold any licenses or certifications required by law for your service category
  • Operate legally in the service area(s) you declare at onboarding
  • Have a valid payment method on file (ACH bank account preferred; tokenized card accepted)
  • Agree to these Provider Terms and the AltPROP Terms of Service

AltPROP reserves the right to verify credentials and to decline or terminate any Provider account at its discretion.

2. Connection Billing

2.1 What is a Qualified Connection

A "Qualified Connection" is a consumer inquiry that meets all of the following criteria:

  • The consumer is authenticated (registered AltPROP account or verified contact information)
  • The consumer's inquiry falls within your declared service area
  • The consumer has provided at least one valid contact method (email or phone)
  • The inquiry matches your declared service category

Inquiries that do not meet all four criteria are recorded for your visibility but are not billed.

2.2 Connection Fee

The current connection fee is $50 per qualified connection. AltPROP may change the connection fee with 30 days' notice. Connections billed before the notice period expires are charged at the prior rate.

2.3 Billing Cycle

Qualified connections are aggregated across the calendar month. On the 1st of the following month, AltPROP generates an invoice and charges your payment method on file. You will receive an email invoice regardless of whether the amount is $0 or greater.

2.4 Payment Method

A valid payment method must be on file before you can receive qualified connections. If your payment method fails, connections are paused until the payment method is updated and any outstanding balance is resolved. ACH bank debit is preferred; tokenized card is accepted as a secondary option.

3. Connection Dispute Process

You have a 7-day window from the date of your monthly billing statement to dispute any billed connection. Grounds for a valid dispute include:

  • Spam or bot — the contact information is invalid or non-human
  • Duplicate — the same consumer submitted multiple inquiries billed as separate connections
  • Wrong category — the inquiry was for a service type outside your declared categories
  • Out of area — the inquiry originated from outside your declared service area
  • Ghost consumer — the consumer cannot be reached at the provided contact information after reasonable attempts

To dispute a connection, navigate to your Provider dashboard → Connections → click the connection → "Dispute this connection," or email billing@altprop.ai with your account email and connection ID. AltPROP will review and respond within 5 business days. Approved disputes are credited to your next monthly invoice.

Disputes submitted after the 7-day window are not eligible for credit except at AltPROP's sole discretion.

4. Data Use and Privacy

When you receive a qualified connection, AltPROP shares the consumer's name, contact information, and inquiry context with you. You agree to:

  • Use consumer contact information only to respond to the specific inquiry
  • Not sell, share, or transfer consumer contact information to third parties
  • Not add consumers to any marketing list without their separate, explicit consent
  • Comply with applicable privacy law (TDPSA, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, TCPA) in all communications
  • Honor any consumer request to stop contact

AltPROP processes Provider account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5. Provider Conduct

You agree to:

  • Represent your qualifications, credentials, and service areas accurately
  • Respond promptly and professionally to consumer inquiries
  • Maintain the licenses and certifications required for your service category
  • Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws
  • Not engage in deceptive practices, price gouging, or consumer harm

AltPROP may suspend or terminate a Provider account for conduct that violates these standards, with or without prior notice depending on severity.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate Provider participation at any time. You may close your account by contacting support@altprop.ai. Upon termination:

  • Connection delivery stops immediately
  • Any outstanding invoice for connections received before termination remains due
  • You retain the right to dispute connections received within the standard 7-day window
  • Account and billing records are retained per our data retention schedule

7. Modifications

AltPROP may update these Provider Terms at any time. Material changes (including connection fee changes) will be communicated by email to your registered address with at least 30 days' notice. Continued participation after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
